OC Fit Body Boot Camp is a great alternative to 24Hr Fitness, if you are looking for a specialized boot camp experience that won’t break your fitness budget, and if you want to do boot camp more than once per week. I think it’s better than the other competitor, Barry’s Boot Camp, and you will find both in the latest Groupon emails. OC Fit Body runs continual sessions throughout the morning and evenings, so there’s no excuses by saying you couldn’t find a good time to jump in. Besides, it’s only 45 minutes, and before you know it, you’re done for the day! If you join, you have access to the owner’s (Steve) great fitness and diet plan. It’s awesome.

    Bodyfitformula.com is a great Website I found for workout routines, and other concepts that fit our group. I discovered it last summer, and the author has some really good ideas on getting lean and fit. The author also provieds some good e-books, and one of them is free. I highly recommend a visit and downloading the e-book.

    I buy most of my supplements at Wholesale Nutrition, across the street from 24HR Fitness, Triangle Square, Costa Mesa. They have great prices and a knowledgeable staff. GNC, Max Muscle and Vitaminshoppe are ok, but a little pricey. Performance Nutrition across the street from Laguna Hills Mall, on El Toro Blvd is also very good, and Larry (behind the counter) is the best. Larry is a bodybuilder who knows a lot about supplements, medical concerns/issues, and training correctly for your goals. I highly recommend a visit to Larry. Tell him Mike & Jamie (24HR Fitness Lakeshore Trainer) sent you. He’ll revolutionize your diet, nutrition and supplement intake.

    On Saturday mornings on the way to the gym, I listen to the Weekend Warrior radio show on 710 AM hosted by Dr. Klapper MD & Orthopedic Surgeon.
